It's back and perhaps cuter than ever. Starbucks announced that a new "Bearista" cup is joining the World Cup frenzy and bringing its A-game, kitted with a soccer-themed hat and scarf.

The coffeehouse chain didn't mention that the release is specifically tied to the 2026 FIFA World Cup, but said it was "inspired by the global game."

For context, the new cup rollout follows the wildly popular release of the original Bearista cup that launched during the 2025 holiday season. The glass cup in the shape of a honey bear, topped with a silicone Starbucks-branded winter hat, went viral and became highly sought after.

We're talking fights, long lines and hundreds of dollars in resale listings for the 20-ounce cup that originally sold for $30. Starbucks felt obliged to apologize to disappointed fans as the demand "exceeded even our biggest expectations."

This time, the soccer Bearista rollout looks different in the U.S. Here's what to know.

The new cups are available at participating coffeehouses across Canada, Latin America and the Asia Pacific region, according to Starbucks.

"It's available in the U.S. online only at the Starbucks Shop starting June 11 for Starbucks Rewards Reserve tier members, while supplies last," the chain added in a press release.

Yes. Starting June 10, in more than 30 markets, Starbucks will celebrate the global game by hosting fan gatherings and giving away locally inspired captain cup sleeves at select coffee shops, while supplies last.

And for one day only (June 11 ), in several markets including England and Scotland, Starbucks coffee shops will host a nationwide cup sleeve giveaway with the purchase of a beverage, while supplies last.
